Possible Wii U Marketing With Quality Car Wraps

By Rob Sutter

It seems like many gamers are going to have their preferred choice of console, which is understandable enough. I believe that most of us want to be able to understand what a particular console is capable of and that it will be able to attract a wide number of consumers in the process. Nintendo, as I'd like to talk about, has done very well in terms of marketing the Wii U. There has to be certain strategies set in place and I think that quality car wraps should be included.

There is nothing wrong with Wii U in terms of design or specs in the eyes of many a sound gamer. The console, with its inclusion of the unique controller dubbed the GamePad, is easily one of the more unique that I have seen in quite some time. However, there is a reason why the Wii U has not exactly lit the world on fire and I do not think that it is the shortage of games like other systems would fall as a result of. If anything, it is the lack of marketing.

Nintendo, for one reason or another, has done very little to let the world know about the Wii U, which has not boded well in terms of sales. If someone who doesn't follow gaming would step into a store to inquire about the Wii U, they may assume it is merely an addition to the original Wii. They may not understand that this is, in fact, an entirely new system. I still feel as though the company can market the system, all the while keeping matters as affordable as possible.

I think that quality car wraps stand as the items with the best potential to increase awareness. Authorities along the lines of JMR Graphics can probably tell you the same. To me, these wraps have been able to prove themselves time and time again and the fact that they are able to last for quite some time speaks volumes about how durable they are. They are dynamic enough for others to notice and they will not hinder Nintendo's substantial bank account in the long term, either.

I do not think that the Wii U is a flop since it has only been about a year since the console was first released. I feel as though there is a chance for this console to come back to the surface but only if the proper marketing efforts are set in place. To me, Nintendo has done a poor job in this regard, whether it is a matter of the lack of TV commercials or what have you. Perhaps quality car wraps can help but time will tell if console can come back swinging.
