You can choose to transport the remains in all manner of packages from glass to wooden boxes to funeral urns. You may also need to pad the package if you are transporting the package over long distances. Padding can be done with foam of airbags and placed between an inner and an outer container. The Inner container should be well handled to avoid breakage.

You can only bring the remains home if it is not illegal to do so in your country. The package is sent as priority package to the recipient. Packaging of the remains should be done as specified by law. The post may send remains in a funeral urn.
